Smoothie & the Family

One could say, we have an affinity for Volkswagens! At 16 and newly licensed, driving a 1974 Volkswagen Thing. Next up, while attending UC Berkeley, a 1978 Volkswagen Westfalia. Then while living in San Francisco, a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta. All leading to our favorite Volkswagen, our 1967 21-Window Volkswagen Bus.

While we enjoy sharing our ‘67 21-window with others, “Smoothie” is also our daily driver. Whether we are camping, heading to a San Francisco Giants game, fishing in Southern Marin or making our way to see live music, our Volkswagen Bus is our goto vehicle!

Simple, cool, full of style, owning a Volkswagen, is an experience all in its own.

The Restoration

Our 1967 21-Window Volkswagen Bus, has undergone a restoration by the best in the business, Robert Skinner of Skinner Classics. We made certain our bus retained all of her original 1967 factory details. Added bonuses, slick safari windows and eye-catching Aero Papyrus interior.

Our 1967 21-Window Volkswagen Bus, “Smoothie”, still has her original blue paint and her well earned patina bumpers.
